Qualify first. Enrich second.
Your LinkedIn network is more useful than a cold list, but only if you do not treat it like one.

Hey there, today I'm bringing you our most recent guide. This one is for those looking to leverage their LinkedIn connections to find clients who are a better fit.
Ps. LinkedIn really doesn’t like this play (cause they want to gatekeep this info). But we’re talking about people who already connected with you…
So let’s go past that and jump into the framework.
The lazy move:
Export every connection, dump the file into a tool like Clay, enrich everyone, and call it a campaign. I know that feels productive because the table fills up fast. You already have names, titles, companies, emails, columns, statuses.
Very official. Very expensive (if you’re just winging credits). Often very dumb.
Your network has context, and that’s the advantage. The mistake is stripping that context away and turning real connections into another generic blast list.
The smart play:
It’s a bit slower at the start and faster where it matters: qualify first, enrich second, validate before launch.
Start with the LinkedIn export.
Clean the file.
Classify fit before running email lookup.
Only spend credits on contacts that actually resemble your ICP.
Validate emails before they touch a sequence.
Then test the workflow in a small batch before scaling it.
That’s the difference between building an outreach list and building a credit-burning machine with a nice interface.
The goal?
Finding the people in your network who deserve a thoughtful follow-up.
Smaller list.
Cleaner data.
Less waste.
These give you better odds that the campaign does not feel like a betrayal of the relationship that created the connection in the first place.
We put together the LinkedIn Network Play to walk you through the workflow: export, clean, classify, validate, and add only ready contacts.
