Your email still sounds like a robot

AI can help you write faster, but it can’t make the prospect care about what you say.

Hey there, Happy Tuesday!

I know you know AI made lazy outbound easier to do and spot.

Now every inbox is full of emails that sound like they were written just for you because they mention your job title, your recent funding round, or your LinkedIn post. But let’s be honest, that’s not relevant.

The best sales emails in 2026 still do the same old things well: they’re clear, short, useful, and easy to respond to.

AI should help you with the work around the email:

  • Research.

  • Segmentation.

  • Testing.

  • Pattern recognition.

But the actual message still needs your human POV.

That means:

Use AI to find the dots, and use your brain to connect them. Or in other words:

  1. Keep the email short enough to read between meetings.

  2. Make the first line about their world, not your company.

  3. Back up claims with proof instead of saying “we help teams scale.”

  4. And stop asking for a 30-minute meeting when a 2-minute next step would do.

The mistake is thinking AI makes your email better. Trust me, it doesn’t. ChatGPT or Claude gives you the ingredients, but you still have to wear the chef's hat.

That’s why we just launched an updated version of our guide on How to Write an Email in the Human/AI Era.

Remember…

It’s not always a numbers game. You won’t win because you’re sending the most AI-generated emails.

The way to win today is to use AI to get sharper, faster, and more relevant without sounding like you outsourced your personality.
